Hi, I’m Gayle, the maker behind Daylesford Soap Company.

I taught myself to make soap back in 2011, starting with a simple goal — to create gentle, natural products for my own family. What began as everyday essentials soon turned into thoughtful handmade gifts for friends, and before long, I found myself completely enchanted by the process. From formulating recipes to designing each bar, soap making quickly became both a creative outlet and a true passion.

As my skills grew, I began sharing my products at local markets, connecting with customers who valued natural, handcrafted skincare. Encouraged by their support, I created my website and built a social media presence — with my Instagram community now growing to over 24,000 followers. 

Over time, the business expanded into wholesale, allowing me to take a leap and step away from my day job to focus fully on what I love. These days, I’ve chosen to slow things down, returning to a more intentional pace and focusing primarily on online sales.

Every product is still made with the same care and attention as when I first started — small batches, thoughtfully selected ingredients, and a deep appreciation for simple, effective skincare. My range is designed to bring a little everyday luxury into your routine.
